Roberta Cohen, L.C.S.W. Director, Cohen Associates, P.A. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Roberta received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and her Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. After receiving her Master degree, Roberta worked at Genessee County Community Mental Health in Flint, Michigan. In 1979, she moved to Houston, Texas and directed the Family Counseling Clinic at the Chicano Training Center. She also acted as field work instructor for Master degree students from the University of Texas/Austin and the University of Houston. Roberta entered private practice in 1982. Over the years, she has worked with individuals and families with a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders, but in most recent years, her interests have centered on the provision of trauma/critical incident stress managment services, management consultations, corporate trainings, coaching and customized counseling services for corporate executives and their families. Roberta is fluent in Spanish. To date, she has traveled as far as Ecuador, the Caribbean and the Middle East assisting multinational companies with critical incidents and other urgent needs. Roberta is licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Lynn Hagan, L.C.S.W., Psy.D. Lynn Hagan received her B.A. from Texas A&M University, her M.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and Master of Social Work from University of Southern Mississippi, and her Doctor of Psychology from Southern California University for Professional Studies. Early in her career, Lynn worked in inpatient and partial hospitalization programs providing mental health and chemical dependency treatment to adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Beginning in 2001, Lynn spent five years in Kuwait, providing crisis counseling to international business employees, State Department personnel and members of the Armed Forces. Frances "Biba" Lee, L.C.S.W. Biba received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Houston in 1992, at which time she began working with children and adolescents at the Harris County Psychiatric Center in Houston, Texas. After receiving her Master in Social Work from the University of Houston in 1995, Biba joined the staff of Cypress Creek Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Houston, Texas. At Cypress Creek, she worked with adults on the psychiatric intensive care and general psychiatric units, as well as on the head injury and chemical dependency units. She also provided services on the child/adolescent psychiatric unit and within the outpatient and return-to-work programs. Biba not only provided direct care, but also acted as a clinical unit manager, team leader and field instructor for master level graduate students from UH-Graduate School of Social Work. In 1998, Biba entered private practice, providing a variety of outpatient services to individuals and families with mental health and substance abuse issues. She also provides critical incident stress management services as part of the Cohen Associates, P.A. Corporate CISM Team. While Biba maintains a general outpatient practice, she has particular clinical interest in providing smoking cessation programs and in treating adolescents and adults eating disorders. Tana M. Blair, L.P.C., L.M.F.T., L.C.D.C. Tana received her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1964, and her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston in 1971. Between 1972 and 1979, she provided counseling services for two non-profit agencies in Texas, which provide career and vocational services to the public, as well as for the Texas Employment Commission. In December of 1982, Tana became the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Crisis Action Line in Texas, which serves county residents who are experiencing situational, emotional, or mental health crises. In October of 1983, she accepted a position with Family Violence Outreach in Spring, Texas, where she functioned as an advocate and family counselor. Between February, 1985 and August, 1986, she provided psychotherapy services on the Adult Substance Abuse Unit at Laurelwood Hospital, in The Woodlands, Texas. Tana entered private practice in 1986. She treats children, adolescents and adults, with a variety of mental health and life issues, including anxiety and depression, chemical dependency abuse and dependence, relationship and parenting concerns, and loss, abuse and other trauma experiences. She also responds to critical incidents in the corporate environment, as part of her practice. In 1991, Tana joined the Bluebonnet Critical Incident Stress Management Team, in Houston, TX, which provides services to firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS and other emergency personnel, following their professional involvement with traumatic and catastrophic events. She has served as the Clinical Director of the Team for six of the years that she has been a member. Tana is a member of the Cohen Associates, P.A. Corporate CISM Team, and has responded to requests for critical incident services following robberies, accidents, acts of violence, and sensitive layoffs. Tana provides services for the Team within the greater Houston, TX area, as well as internationally. Tana has completed post-graduate training in EMDR, hypnotherapy and critical incident stress management. She also has received 500 hours of marriage and family counseling training at the Houston-Galveston Family Institute. Glenn Goree, L.P.C., C.C.M.H.C. In 1988, Glenn received his Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Sul Ross State University. From 1988 through 1990, he provided outpatient clinical services for seriously mentally ill patients at the Center for Health Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. In 1990, he accepted the positions of Area Director and Outpatient Clinical Director for Lutheran Social Services in San Antonio, and provided clinical and fiscal oversight for the Outpatient, Adoption and Geriatric programs. He was also responsible for grant writing and fund raising and reporting to the local Board of Directors. Marguerite (Meg) D. Scott, L.C.S.W., L.P.C., L.M.F.T. Meg received her B.A. in Sociology and Social Work from the University of Kansas in 1967, and her M.S.W. from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 1969. Between 1969 and 1976, Meg worked in psychiatric hospitals and counseling centers in Connecticut, Washington and Georgia. In 1978, Meg joined the staff of Interface (Samaritan) Counseling Center, where she remained until 1982. In 1983, she entered private practice in Houston, TX, providing mental health services to individuals, couples and families, until 2006. Currently Meg is a Field Instructor for the Graduate Department of Social Work of the University of Texas San Antonio. She also is a part of the Cohen Associates, P.A. Corporate CISM Team, serving the Greater San Antonio, Texas area. She also travels with the Team in response to critical incident needs. Meg has been active in the Critical Incident Stress Management field since 1991. She is a founding member of the Bluebonnet CISM Team, serving emergency public service responders in the greater Houston, TX area. She additionally was the Clinical Director of for Bluebonnet between 1997 and 1999, and was their President between 2004 and 2005. Meg's clinical interests include grief and trauma resolution, professional compssion fatigue, stress management and family and couple communication processes. Meg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Texas.
